Physician Assistant

Star Urogynecology is seeking a full-time, motivated, and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing private practice. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced group of physicians and APPs with split time between the OR and clinic. Position Overview:This position offers consistent weekday hours with limited weekends in a supportive and collaborative practice. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about women’s health. Positions are available in both the East and West Valley. Responsibilities:•    Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed history and pelvic examinations•    Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (e.g., urodynamics, urine cultures, imaging, cystoscopies)•    Diagnose and manage conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, recurrent UTIs, and pelvic pain with supervising physicians•    Counsel patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications•    Perform minor procedures in the clinic (e.g. pessary fittings, biopsies, cystoscopies, etc.)•    First assist in surgery (e.g., prolapse repairs, sling procedures,  hysterectomies, etc)•    Manage post-operative care, including, wound checks, voiding trials, and complication management•    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, primary care providers, urologic and colorectal specialists•    Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record•    Ensure compliance with licensures, clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements•    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical educationQualifications:•    Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program•    Active (or eligible) Arizona Physician Assistant and DEA license•    Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills•    Surgical or women’s health experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to applyBenefits:•    Salary: $125,000+ depending on experience•    Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO/Sick Time, 401(k), CME Reimbursement, License Reimbursement, Malpractice CoverageAt Star Urogynecology, we are committed to supporting our healthcare professionals in their pursuit of excellence.
