More information about OSD Critical Technologies can be found at: www.cto.mil/ct/ Amentum is currently seeking a Senior Hypersonics Program Executive Arlington, VA office with hypersonic technology background to support the formulation and execution of national roadmaps and investment strategies to accelerate the development and transition of hypersonic systems. This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Candidate will serve as the primary support contractor interface to Principal Director for hypersonic working groups and stakeholders across the Government. Applicants must have technical leadership experience and possess superior oral and written communications skills; excellent organizational skills and act as a team player both within the program office and with other program offices; and excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be self-starters capable of working both independently and as part of a team. This will be a full-time positionCandidates will travel approximately 25% of time. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support the Principal Director for Hypersonics in creating the vision and strategy to accelerate the development and delivery of transformational military capability based on hypersonic systems Develop roadmaps for elements of the Hypersonics strategy including key enablers such as test and evaluation infrastructure, industrial base enhancements, foundational S&T, and workforce development Identify gaps and coordinate investment strategies and initiatives to close gaps Lead AUKUS Pillar 2 Hypersonics & Counter Hypersonics (H & CH) Working Group including coordinating with Service, MDA and OSD participants, working with AUKUS team to guide and develop collaborative projects, developing progress reports and briefing senior executives on working group activities and project progress Support on demand initiatives such as congressional reports and briefings, and conferences and panel sessions Providing technical support and expertise in advance hypersonic technology development and demonstration programs. Performing independent technical assessments and feasibility analyses of new technologies and system designs. Authoring program status briefings and technical reports. Required Qualifications: Masters Degree with 20 years’ experience in DoD RDTE of Advance Military Systems Must possess an Active US Government Top Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Technical leadership experience and possess superior oral and written communications skills Excellent organizational skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to lead collaborative initiatives and coordinate with a large number of stakeholders Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment experience Must be proficient in Windows applications, including Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Multiple visits weekly to the Pentagon, Arlington VA Preferred Qualifications: TS/SCI Clearance Experience in the research, development, test and evaluation of hypersonic strike systems and technologies and counter hypersonic capabilities. Experience in the trilateral Australia – United Kingdom – United States (AUKUS) security initiative or other international collaborative engagements and projects.
