Job Location - Smithfield RI (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)About The RoleSeeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive data modernization initiatives, assess legacy Informatica workflows, and lead the development of scalable Python-based ETL solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and assess complex Informatica workflows and data processing frameworks.Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.Lead migration efforts from legacy ETL platforms to modern Python-based solutions.Develop and optimize batch-processing solutions using Java Spring data profiling, impact assessments, and workflow Generative AI and Copilot capabilities to accelerate workflow analysis and modernization activities.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to ensure successful delivery.Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practicesRequired Skills6-9 years of Data Engineering experience. Strong expertise in Informatica, Python ETL, and SQL. Hands-on experience with Java Spring Batch. Experience with AWS-based data solutions. Strong understanding of data integration, workflow orchestration, and batch processing. Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsFinancial Services domain experience.
