Job Details Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the State Bar of California (or ability to obtain admission promptly). 3–7 years of experience in employment law, preferably representing employers. Strong understanding of federal and California employment regulations, including wage and hour laws, discrimination statutes, leaves of absence, and workplace safety requirements. Experience counseling employers, drafting policies/handbooks, and handling administrative agency matters (e.g., DFEH/CRD, EEOC, DLSE). Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate clearly with clients, deliver practical guidance, and manage multiple matters across a busy practice. Preferred Experience: Litigation experience in employment disputes (single-plaintiff or administrative). Prior experience conducting workplace investigations or employer trainings.
