Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient and LTC float assignment at a Level III trauma hospital in Bemidji, MN, requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and active BLS certification.Job Details• Day shift, Monday-Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements,• Split role: approximately 90% LTC/SNF coverage and 10% inpatient acute care,• Float position covering inpatient hospital setting as well as two SNF locations in the surrounding area,• Hospital therapy caseload averages 30-40 patients; SNF locations include a 60-bed and a 30-bed facility,• Patient diagnoses include general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op orthopedic, neurological conditions, and general medical-surgical cases,• Occasionally may be the sole OT on-site at an LTC location, though phone support is always available,• EMR: Epic (acute care); Casamba/NetHealth used in LTC environments,• 8-hour shifts,• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate,Job Requirements• Active MN Occupational Therapist license required (or willingness to obtain); license required if applicable,• Minimum 1 year of OT experience, preferably within the past 3 years,• Experience in both inpatient acute care and SNF settings required,• Active BLS certification (AHA) required - no pending certifications accepted,• Willingness to float to all locations as needed,• Epic EMR experience highly preferred,• 2 current references required: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the same specialty within the last 3 years,Additional Information• Evaluate and treat adult patients across acute care and skilled nursing settings for a variety of diagnoses,• Orientation includes computer-based organizational training, 1-on-1 documentation system training, and departmental orientation (approximately 8 hours),• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility,• Scrub/dress code: Polo (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, or Chocolate Brown) or business casual attire,• Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this history - a minimum 6-month gap between the end date of prior employment and the submission date is required,
