Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and recommend menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards. Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy. Manage cash transactions efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events like banquets or nightclub functions to ensure seamless delivery of food and drinks. Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management. Uphold all food safety protocols related to food handling, serving, and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts in nightlife venues or fine dining settings. Excellent customer service abilities with a welcoming attitude that makes guests feel at home. Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for special events or large parties. Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales tracking. Passion for the food industry and hospitality with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings like brewing establishments or restaurants.
