System Engineer III

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support development and integration of advanced U.S. Navy tactical systems in Huntsville, AL. This position is fully on-site in Huntsville, AL. A current, active security clearance that is at least secret level (or higher) is required. Responsibilities:Lead or support development and modification of complex systems and subsystemsPerform advanced systems engineering analysis and design activitiesManage and decompose system requirements into implementable componentsConduct system performance modeling and analysis (MATLAB)Support and lead system integration and hardware/software integration & testPerform system verification and validation activitiesTroubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive resolutionCollaborate across engineering teams to support system design and implementationContribute to embedded systems development effortsExperience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)5-7 years of systems engineering experienceStrong experience in systems design, development, and integrationExperience with real-time systems development (minimum ~3 years)Experience with programming or scripting (3rd/4th generation languages)Strong understanding of requirements management and system decompositionExperience working with DOORSExperience working in a Linux and Agile environment Experience with the following tools are a plus:Experience with MATLAB and system performance modelingExperience with hardware/software integration and testingFamiliarity with embedded systems designExperience supporting system-level verification and validationExposure to defense or tactical systems environments Data Intelligence, DI is an established small business that has supported the critical missions of our government clients since 2005.
