Supervisor Cashier Convenience Store
Description:
Convenience store cashiers provide customers with fast and friendly service while ensuring accuracy at the sales counter. Cashiers scan items, ensure that prices and quantities are correct, and collect payments. Emphasis on Supervisor-in-training. Willing to cross-train in deli.
Requirements:
Essential Functions
Operate all checking equipment, count money and make change accurately
Operate tools and equipment safely
Perform general stocking duties
Perform general cleaning duties
Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
Monitor and supervise employee's work
Greet and talk politely with customers
Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
Function as a team member and get along with others
Adhere to daily work schedule
Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed
Work in a fast-paced environment
Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Physical requirements
Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,
Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 50lbs
Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift
Push/pull a heavily loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack
Push/pull a loaded stock cart
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ years of retail Management/Cashier experience preferred
N.M. Food Handlers Permit (will certify)
Age requirement
Minimum age 18
