Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.Education And Work ExperienceExperience working with children preferred.Kitchen experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredAble to maintain cleanliness & safety standards for kitchen and food servicesPossess good leadership skills and ability to assist other staffGood verbal communication skillsMust be knowledgeable in the areas of children/personnel safety assessment, planning, problem solving, and crisis interventionBe able to pass a child safety background checkEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupervise SEARCH Dining Hall staffEnsure consistent cleanliness and upkeep of the Dining Hall areaResponsible for proper table set up prior to meals in accordance with meal being servedEnsure tables are cleaned and wiped down after mealsEmpty all kitchen and dining hall trash after every meal and/or as neededSweep and spot mop the dining Hall floor after EVERY mealMop Dining Hall floor at least once a day or as needed throughout the dayMop Kitchen floor after every meal using clean bleach waterServe meals to campers as requiredGeneral DutiesExhibit effective Christ-like conduct and service as an appropriate example for campers and staffGive support to the total camping program performing all other duties required to provide a consistently excellent programAttend and participate in all camp programs as required including, but not limited to evening programs, chapel activities, and staff meetingsFollow all policies and proceduresMaintain cleanliness and order in your person and living quartersAssist with cleanup of the total camp at the end of each session and at the conclusion of the summerPhysical RequirementsSit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basisGrasp, push, pull objects, and reach overheadOperate a telephone and computerLift up to 25 lbs.Understand verbal and written informationSweep, clean and perform other janitorial tasks as neededQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
