General Laborer - 1st Shift

General LaborerPay: $15.50 Shift: 1st Shift (MondayFriday, with possible overtime) Time: 6am-230pm Weekly Pay | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Primary Purpose & FunctionThe General Laborer supports daily production and warehouse operations by assisting with assembly, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential in ensuring air conditioning units and components are produced efficiently and meet quality standards. Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAssist in assembling air conditioning units and components Load and unload materials, parts, and finished products Package, label, and prepare products for shipment Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Support other departments as needed to meet production goals Skills & Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 4050 lbs regularly Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for 810 hours Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Strong attention to detail and reliability Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required Work EnvironmentIndustrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to varying temperatures depending on production area Moderate noise level PPE required at all times Safety Equipment / PPESteel-toe boots required Safety glasses and gloves (provided) Hearing protection as needed About Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
