We offer end-to-end solutions—from design and installation to ongoing maintenance and emergency support—helping clients maximize building performance, energy efficiency, and equipment lifespan.Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to support the successful execution of commercial and industrial construction projects. The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager and field teams with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, procurement, and communication to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction management and gain hands-on experience in project operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operationsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveriesReview and manage project drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIsTrack project schedules, milestones, and deliverablesSupport budgeting, cost tracking, and change order managementMaintain accurate project documentation and reportingParticipate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholdersAssist with quality control and safety compliance efforts on job sitesHelp ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and company standardsCoordinate inspections, permits, and closeout documentationAll other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred1–3 years of construction experience preferredKnowledge of commercial, industrial, or electrical construction projects is a plusStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management softwareExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk active construction job sites safelyAbility to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate uneven terrainAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 poundsAbility to work in various weather conditions when visiting job sitesBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holiday pay.Opportunities for professional development and certification assistance.Equal Employment OpportunityUpchurch Companies provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
