Electrical Engineer

Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the preparation of electrical design plant layout drawings and one-line and three line drawings, and schematic diagramsAssess project requirementsMeasure the performance of mechanical components, devices, and enginesMaintain and Modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient using computer-aided design/modeling softwarePrepare load flow, short circuit arc-flash, and cable sizing studies, Equipment fabrication drawings, bills of material, calculations, manuals, etc.Support estimating and bidding with engineering support and support manufacturing divisions on product development.Site supervision and handling customers concerns.COMPENSATION: We offer our employees a competitive salary and benefits package which includes a comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental Plan, Company paid Life and Disability Insurance, and 401(k) Plan.REQUIRED EDUCATION:Engineering degree is requiredFamiliar with CAD draftingMinimum of 2 years' experience.Good interpersonal and communication skills, along with suitable technical skills.TRAVELThis position requires travel to the Company facilities as needed.BENEFITSCompetitive benefits package, which includes medical/dental/vision plan, paid vacation/holidays and 401k plan.WTEC Energy Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
