Clinical Manager

Primary Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily (the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/orability needed). Reliable, consistent and predictable performance of the following job duties isrequired:Responsible for clinical staffing and operations including:All staff planning, including schedules- on call for call-offsInterviewing, hiring, and onboarding new clinic team membersStaff training/development in coordination with the Education & Outreach ManagerResponsible for verification of bi-weekly timesheet and payroll summaryOversee Clinical Administrator including phone coverage and that consents are pre-filled and ready for appointmentsResponding to or delegating vaccine and security alarms 24/7Staff management including coaching and corrective action, if neededOversee Hobson, Grabill, and FACE clinic locations including staffing, inventory, events,and other duties as necessary2.Oversees Diversity and Inclusion efforts and creating a climate in the clinic where everyone feels heard and respected.3.Responsible for creating outstanding patient experience and delivering excellent customer service.4.Responsible for building and growing partnerships including different referral processes.5.Acts as Primary Vaccine Coordinator for ISDH and responsible for those entailed duties including but not limited to updating the Vaccine Management Plan and the Provider Agreement annually. See the IDOH Vaccine Coordinator Policy for a more detailed list of responsibilities: IDOH Policy & ProceduresIncludes being familiar with cloud software that records temperature of vaccine units at Hobson and FACE locations; must provide regular temperature reports to IDOHResponding to and troubleshooting temperature alarms at all hoursFollowing up as required for any vaccine temperature excursions6.Actively manages all inventory and delivery of vaccines based on insurance coverage through VOMs and VaxCare.7.Responsible for Reminder/Recall efforts by utilizing IDOH tools to identify patients that are behind on immunizations and contacting them to schedule by EMR, text or phone call.8. Creates the staff training manual and regularly updates the manual alongside the Education &Outreach Manager and Executive Director.9. Writes and provides annual employee reviews to Executive Director and participates in annualreviews of clinical staff.10. Responsible for managing all clinical platforms including system user account access management.11. Provides annual employee handbook, policies, and procedure updates to Administrative Assistant and Executive Director.12. Responsible for maintaining and updating standing orders.13. Manages EMR schedule template and manage utilization.14. Acts as agency’s HIPAA Compliance Officer and ensures annual HIPAA compliance training and agency review.15. Leads staff meetings in conjunction with the Executive Director and the Education & Outreach Manager and conduct pre-clinic staff huddles as needed.16. Participates in strategic planning with other agency staff.17. Vaccinate or intake in the clinic as needed.18. Performs other duties as assigned.Organizational Level: Reports directly to the Executive Director. Has multiple direct reports: (3)Vaccinators, (2) Intake staff, (1) Clinic Coordinator, and (1) Clinic Administrator.Accountability: Must maintain a high level of professionalism while working with staff, patients,and volunteers. Required to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Supervisory experiencerequired. License to vaccinate in the state of Indiana required. RN or LPN preferred.Position Constraints: Position may require early morning and/or late evening hours. Significanttime and effort are spent on planning, guiding, and directing staff and executing clinic operationsfor successful performance. Light lifting of deliveries and stock.Benefits:This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
