Network Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer III in Davie, FL.Summary:The primary focus will be LAN, WAN, SD-WAN for on and off premise along with Wireless, firewall, internet connectivity and VPN to a lesser extent. The Network Administrator will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Network team in an environment that fosters cross-training and voluntary knowledge transfer.Key Responsibilities:Configuration and implementation of Network systems and applicationsTroubleshooting, maintenance, and support of LAN/WAN/Wireless/Firewall/Voice systemsMonitoring system performance and recommending adjustments to ensure maximum system availability and performance levelsParticipating in internal and business partner meetingsAfter-hours on-call support and incident managementFollowing service level agreements (SLAs) to align with operational performance goalsDesigning, developing, deploying, and administering enterprise collaboration servicesWorks with other network team members to support projects and work at times lead on a projectParticipating in product evaluations, systems testing, certification, and product lifecycle managementProviding guidance and mentorship to team membersREQUIREMENTS:Experience with Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, and VeloCloudBroad knowledge of networking and telecommunicationsKnowledge of network protocols, architecture, and securityExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong analytical and technical skillsTechnical Skills:Cisco LAN Switching with Nexus and Catalyst productsHands On configuration in Cisco CLI, Velo Cloud SD-WAN, Palo Firewalls, and Wireless ControllersConfigure and follow standard for Network protocols, architecture, and securityPreferred Certification:Cisco CCIE in Route/Switch or Data CenterCisco CCNP R/SCisco CCNA Route/SwitchingMajor Firewall Wall Certifications like Pal AltoThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
