Full Stack Application Developer

As a thriving auction company since 1960, we have been busy selling everything from combines & tractors to tillable farm acreage, hay, and livestock. We also sell an array of assets including construction equipment, large estates, business holdings, and more! From that time forward, the company has experienced a continued growth pattern & an expansion of offered services. The Application Developer at Steffes Group, Inc. will be based out of our Support Center site in Fargo, ND, and report to the Lead Developer. This role will play an integral part in developing and integrating the platforms that will drive the organization’s future. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain solutions aligned with industry best practices Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks based on adopted technologies Design and implement back-end APIs and services ensuring high performance and availability Coordinate with team on specific delivery requirements and implement as agreed QA review/testing of peer code to ensure high quality and performance Provide input on project architecture and design Deliver projects on time, on budget, and with minimum defects Mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge Research new technologies and solutions and present to team Maintain working knowledge of current development methodologies and technologies TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js React, React Native, .NET Core NoSQL, SQL Azure Apps, Services, Functions, Containers, and Storage Azure DevOps iOS & Android platforms API design and deployment SKILL REQUIREMENTS Excellent time management skills Strong problem-solving mindset Self-starter Open & Effective communication Team Oriented MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 5 years of application development in a business environment Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Front-end development: 5 years (Preferred) CSS: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Fargo, ND 58104: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
