Software Engineer II, Frontend

We're looking for a frontend-focused Software Engineer II to join Procore's Product & Technology Team working on the Hubs Platform. In this Engineering role you will shape the experience of millions of users worldwide as you build the platforms and products that enable customized experiences to users of Procore. You'll play a critical role in building user interfaces and optimizing the runtime that powers Hub experiences and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create new user experiences. The UIs powered by the Hubs Platform are used by every Procore customer and represents Procore's next phase in UI customization; it is an extremely high-visibility and high-impact role.Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.What you'll do:Develop and maintain the UI-focused runtime platform for Hubs using Procore's technology stack (primarily React, NodeJS, Typescript, Ruby).Design scalable UIs using microfrontend concepts to build world-class user experiences.Build the front-end platform enabling customization at scale and collaborate with frontend and product teams to enable our platform to be used by engineering teams across Procore effortlessly.Write clean, efficient, well-tested and well-documented code following industry standard and Procore best practices.Contribute to team technical standards and operational processes.Provide 24/7 support for production UIs and services to achieve 99.99% uptime.What we're looking for:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience2+ years of frontend development experience using React and Typescript is required2+ years of experience in software engineering and test driven development using Ruby on Rails and NodeJS is preferred1+ years of experience monitoring, tuning alerts and responding to production alertsA curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problemsRecommends technical investments to improve stability, performance and scalability of production servicesAdditional InformationBase Pay Range:This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
