Its primary aim is to connect university researchers with business enterprises, entrepreneurs and unique external resources.Position Specific SummaryThe TCO seeks a graduate student to help the office with digital marketing and organizing events. Business or Media students with interest in science and engineering will be considered. Requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with social media, email marketing, website maintenance, event promotion, planning, and execution. 10 hrs/week scheduled around classes between 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.Specific duties:• Organize, create and post content on LinkedIn and TCO website• Create mass emails in Emma• Assist with planning and execution of virtual and in-person TCO events• Assist with data entry• Assist with other projects related to the daily activities of the TCOStandard Position DescriptionThe student will provide assistance in management and planning for print, web, social media, and/or other digital content. Tasks may include: reviewing existing departmental websites and suggest edits, executing a marketing plan, website maintenance, updating and/or developing key materials and opportunities used to promoting departmental expertise and practices, editing or creating videos, and assisting in the management of social media channels, including writing and posting original content.
