Controller
Overview:
In this role you will lead daily accounting operations and the month-end close for a fast-paced distribution/warehouse environment. You'll ensure accurate US GAAP financial reporting while partnering with operations leadership to drive insights. Located onsite in Mira Loma, you'll mentor the accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and optimize the Acumatica ERP to support high-volume logistics activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month end and year end close activities
- Oversee general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Supervise AP, AR, and cash management functions
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
- Support inventory accounting and warehouse related transactions
- Partner with operations leadership on reporting and analysis
- Lead, mentor, and support accounting staff
- Drive process improvements and optimize use of Acumatica ERPKey requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing, or fulfillment environments
- Knowledge of mid-tier ERP (Acumatica, Netsuite)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
