This opportunity is with an outpatient community health center serving patients across a broad range of primary care needs.The physician will examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, manage acute and chronic conditions, and provide patient-centered primary care services for patients of all ages.About This RoleThis role is based in a community health setting that provides comprehensive outpatient healthcare services to the local community. The care environment includes primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy, lab, radiology, specialty support, wellness services, and care coordination.The ideal provider will be comfortable treating patients across the lifespan and managing both acute and chronic care needs in a busy outpatient setting. This role requires strong primary care experience, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to support high-quality care in a culturally respectful healthcare environment.ResponsibilitiesExamine, diagnose, and treat primary care patientsManage acute and chronic conditions for patients of all agesDevelop and follow evidence-based care plansPrescribe medications and order labs, imaging, or referrals as neededEducate patients on preventive care, medications, lifestyle, and wellnessCoordinate care with nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health, and specialty teamsDocument care accurately in the electronic health recordSupport quality measures, productivity goals, and patient care standardsExperience And QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of Primary Care experience requiredBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineComfortable treating patients of all agesExperience managing both acute and chronic care needsAble to see approximately 2.5–3 patients per hourStrong EHR, communication, and care coordination skillsMust be flexible with scheduling and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededLicense and Certification RequirementsUnrestricted Oklahoma medical license required, or active IMLC with Oklahoma license application submitted at time of submissionBoard Certification requiredACLS certification requiredPALS certification requiredBLS certification requiredOBNDD registration requiredApply TodayWe are seeking a qualified Primary Care Physician for a 13-week contract assignment in the Jay, OK area.
