DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance

Position Title: DevOps EngineerLocation: Panama City, FLClearance: Active Secret Position OverviewWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Ansible expertise to support mission-critical systems within U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) environments. The ideal candidate will have experience automating infrastructure, maintaining secure environments, and working within regulated government networks.ResponsibilitiesYou will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to build automated infrastructure solutions that meet DoD security, compliance, and operational standards. Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate system provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across development, test, and production environmentsAutomate build, deployment, and patching processes for Linux-based infrastructureIntegrate Ansible workflows with CI/CD pipelinesSupport system hardening in accordance with DISA STIGs and DoD security requirementsMaintain and improve configuration management across classified and unclassified environmentsCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with RMF / NIST standardsTroubleshoot And Resolve Infrastructure Automation Issues Required Qualifications3+ years of experience with Ansible automationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experienceExperience supporting DoD, federal government, or defense contractor environmentsStrong Linux system administration background (RHEL/CentOS/AlmaLinux)Experience writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventoriesFamiliarity with Git-based workflowsUnderstanding of networking, security controls, and system hardeningSecurity+ or other DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification Why Choose ISPA Technology?
