API World is the largest virtual conference and expo with the goal of organizing this new API Economy. The API World 2024 Conference and Expo was created with the mission to be neutral and facilitate connections, knowledge, trust and business within the developer community of API providers and consumers. If you are a coder, a startup or an enterprise that consumes or provides multiple APIs this is your event. ImagineX Productions produces events and experiences that inspire, and work with DevNetwork to staff all of their shows. Reporting RelationshipsImagineX Productions is partnering with DevNetwork to hire and lead the production team. From there we have the following shifts available - Day 1 - Tuesday, October 24, 20236:00am - 4:30pmDay 2 - Wednesday, October 25, 20236:30am - 6:30pmDay 3 - Thursday, October 26, 20236:30am - 6:30pmGeneral DutiesAssist in the set-up and breakdown of conference suppliesUse scanning systems and equipment to scan badgesUse a reservation system and equipment to verify guest reservations and hand correct badges for entrance into the venue. Assist in troubleshooting guest issues.Assist in facilitating overall guest experience.Manage the speaker and stage experienceAttend on-site staff meetings and execute tasks under the direction of Managers and Leaders.Personal CharacteristicsCapability and comfort using smart electronic devices (tablet, smartphone) is a must.Excellent communication skills and collaborative work ethic.Capability and comfort being in large crowds of people.Possess the capacity to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact.Able to work efficiently in an organized and detailed fashion.Ability to adhere to DevNetwork policies, protocols and procedures.Understanding of your own personal limits and ability to articulate those limits to your supervisor.Have a great sense of humor and maintain dedication to the DevNetwork mission.Physical RequirementsAble to lift/carry 50lbsAble to experience periods of extended standing.Able to walk and climb considerable distances, including inclines/declines during the course of a work day.Able to stoop, crouch and kneel while placing signage throughout the venue.The ability to listen and speak clearly is required.Compensation $22 - $25 per Hour, Paid as an Independent ContractorBreakfast, Lunch, and Dinner IncludedParking to be reimbursedHow to Applyhttps://airtable.com/shrD7u84UVCLJvvr4EmailIf you have any questions, please email team@imaginexstaffing.com
