Warehouse Associate IIIThe Warehouse Associate III is responsible for packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, through coordination with internal teams, to ensure that demand is fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner. This role provides back-up lead support and is the subject matter expert for most processes throughout the warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesTransact customer orders using the ERP system and provide quality control inspections.Package products for shipping, ensuring all required items are in the carton and labels are affixed correctly.Perform accurate inventory counts of finished goods and materials as assigned.Process domestic and international shipments, including scheduling with freight carriers and processing quotations for the internal customer service team.Identify and help solve problems as they arise on the warehouse floor, keeping leadership informed.Perform all functions in Receiving and process site-to-site transfers when needed.Train newer employees and act as a backup to the lead.Maintain a neat, organized warehouse environment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.Required QualificationsExperience: 4-6 years of related experience in general warehouse duties, including receiving, packaging, and shipping.Skills & Abilities:Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within the first three months of employment.Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications, including ERP systems.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.Must be able to communicate clearly in English, including both written and verbal skills.Able to recognize improvement opportunities and contribute to corrective actions.Attendance is a critical function of this position.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.Ability to lift 15 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. periodically with assistance.Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.Perform tasks that may be repetitive, which require reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking, stooping, and/or bending.Ability to use tools that require fine hand skills and visually observe small parts.Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a pay rate between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour.
