This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance data solutions supporting investment management platforms, including mutual funds and ETFs.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripting, ETL processes, and modern data warehousing technologies, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesData Engineering & DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutionsBuild high-quality, efficient, and reliable data processing systemsDevelop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code and SQL scriptsETL & Data WarehousingWork with ETL tools like InformaticaDevelop and manage data workflows in Snowflake Data WarehouseEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistencyData Modeling & Analysis Design data models using:Transactional systemsData martsEnterprise data warehousesPerform quantitative and multidimensional data analysisIdentify data gaps, patterns, and optimization opportunitiesPerformance OptimizationTune database performance and optimize queriesImprove data processing efficiency and scalabilityCloud & Modernization Work with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)Support modernization initiatives using:APIsJava-based applicationsDevOps & Agile Practices Follow CI/CD processes using:GitJenkinsMavenDockerParticipate in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)Collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperienceRequired QualificationsStrong experience as a Data Engineer in financial services domainProven experience building enterprise-scale data engineering solutionsTechnical Skills Expertise in:Oracle PL/SQLSQL scriptingDatabase performance tuningStrong knowledge of:ETL tools (Informatica)Data warehousing (Snowflake)Strong data modeling experienceUnderstanding of:Data martsData warehousesTransactional systemsAdditional Skills (Nice To Have)PythonJavaREST APIsAWS / Cloud technologiesMicroservices exposureSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in team environmentsExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)Team OverviewThe Asset Management Technology (AMT) team supports:Investment managementTradingResearchInvestment operationsThey Manage a Multi-terabyte Data Platform Used ForMutual fundsETFsStrategic advisor productsThis platform directly supports high-value financial decision-making impacting billions of dollars in investments
