Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work in emergency department with 101 beds and 4:1 patient ratios typically for medical patients • Up to 7:1 ratios for ED behavioral holds • Every other weekend schedule requirement • No block scheduling commitment - scheduling must meet department needs • Float within all sections of the ED (no floating outside ED required) • Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire • 2 years nursing experience required with minimum 1 year ER experience • Experience in Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred • High volume emergency department experience (>100,000 visits) required • Previous HCA experience preferred • Work with Baxter pumps and GE monitors • Use Cerner documentation system • Navy scrubs uniform requirement • Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback • Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards • Keep patient boards updated with information throughout visits Facility: This flagship healthcare facility is an 815-bed hospital recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades from 2020-2023, representing the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
