Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend requirement • Team nursing patient ratios • No on-call responsibilities • May float to MUSC Health Columbia NE or DT facilities within scope • 12-hour orientation required • Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required • Previous charge experience required • Epic charting system experience required • Travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS • Trauma Level I & II experience preferred • South Carolina RN license or compact license must be in hand prior to start • Royal blue scrubs required • Care for patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Daily census of 25-30 patients • Skills include central line care, IV sedation, triage, phlebotomy, IV management, and procedural sedation • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required from June through November Facility: This free-standing emergency room facility features 6 total staffed beds and 5 treatment rooms, providing comprehensive emergency care services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and maintains modern equipment for emergency medical care.
