If you re ready to take on technically challenging work in large-scale environments, this is your opportunity.TradeSTAR is partnering with a respected low-voltage integrator supporting medium to large commercial construction projects including education facilities, multi-building campuses, healthcare, and municipal work. We re looking for Fire Alarm Technicians at all levels who bring technical skill, pride in their work, and a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL).What You ll DoYou ll be working on complex life safety systems where precision and code compliance matter:Install, terminate, and service fire alarm systems on commercial construction sitesWork with devices including horn/strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, duct detectors, and panelsPerform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics (ground faults, circuit integrity, voltage drop)Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system layoutsRun conduit, pull wire, and ensure all installs meet NFPA 72 and local code requirementsAssist with system commissioning, inspections, and final acceptance testing(Level II/III) Lead crews, coordinate installs, and manage daily field reportingEnsure systems meet AHJ requirements and pass inspectionWho You AreWe re hiring across all experience levels from solid installers to lead techs:Level I: 1 2+ years of fire alarm or low voltage experience; basic installation and device terminationLevel II: 3 5+ years + Texas FAL required; capable of panel terminations, troubleshooting, and reading printsLevel III / Lead: 5+ years + FAL; experienced leading crews, managing large-scale installs, and system certificationsStrong understanding of NFPA 72, fire alarm circuits, and system componentsExperience using VOM meters and performing system diagnosticsAbility to work in active commercial construction environmentsReliable transportation and a strong work ethicWhy TradeSTARWe connect skilled tradespeople with real career opportunities not just short-term jobs.Access to top-tier low voltage contractors across Central TexasWork on high-profile commercial and institutional projectsCareer advancement from Technician ?
