Oracle Exadata Specialist100% Remote 6 Month Contract - High Chance of Extension **Unable to Provide Sponsorship or Do C2C**Our client is supporting a large-scale healthcare cloud modernization initiative and is seeking Oracle Exadata Specialists to join a specialized database infrastructure team. This program involves migrating 220 healthcare applications and approximately 330TB of data from Oracle Exadata environments into a secure, compliant Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata, large-scale database migrations, performance optimization, and hybrid cloud connectivity.Responsibilities:Assess a large-scale Oracle Exadata estate and develop database migration strategiesConfigure and optimize Oracle Exadata Database Machine environments for hybrid cloud architectureImplement secure, high-performance connectivity between Oracle Exadata and Azure AKSSupport database migration activities including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, data replication, and cutover planningPerform Oracle database performance tuning and optimization for production healthcare workloadsImplement Oracle security capabilities aligned with regulated cloud requirements, including encryption, TDE, Data Redaction, and Database VaultManage Oracle patching, upgrades, and version alignmentConfigure and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategiesDevelop database automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code for Oracle componentsTroubleshoot database performance, connectivity, migration, and infrastructure issuesDocument database architecture, data flows, and compliance controls for audit purposesRequired Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ExadataExperience with Oracle 19c and/or 21cExperience with Oracle RAC and ASMExperience with RMAN and Data GuardStrong experience supporting Oracle database migrationsExperience working with large-scale databases and high-volume data environmentsExperience with Azure and hybrid cloud architectureExperience connecting Oracle infrastructure to Azure using ExpressRoute, VPN, or equivalent technologiesStrong database performance tuning and optimization experienceExperience with Oracle database security, encryption, and access controlsExperience with backup, recovery, and disaster recoveryStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsNice to HaveGoldenGate experienceAzure AKS experienceFedRAMP or GovRAMP experienceHealthcare or healthcare claims processing experienceFacets experienceExadata Smart Scan and storage index optimizationWorkload management experienceDatabase automation / Infrastructure as CodeDatabase migration assessment toolsAzure GoCloud experienceCompliance and audit documentation experienceBENEFITS OF WORKING WITH BROOKSOURCE:Direct communication with the hiring manager, which allows us to move candidates through the interview process faster.Dedication to keep an open line of communication and provide full transparency.Benefits & Perks:Brooksource offers competitive medical, dental, vision, Health Savings Account, Dependent Care FSA, and supplemental coverage with plans that can fit each employee’s needs.
