X-Ray Technician (PRN)

VSI is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team.In this flexible, as-needed role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform radiologic exams using X-ray equipment in compliance with physician orders and safety standardsPrepare and position patients accurately to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagesMaintain imaging equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environmentAccurately document patient records and imaging proceduresCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team membersAdhere to HIPAA and infection control guidelines at all timesQualificationsValid Virginia Radiologic Technologist License (RT(R))ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requiredCPR/BLS certificationMinimum of 1 year of clinical X-ray experience preferredAbility to work flexible hoursStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient careWill gladly consider an experienced Radiologic Technologist-Limited (LMRT) applicant
