Controls Engineer

Description: We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the design, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment. This role will work closely with production and maintenance teams to support PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, and plant automation systems while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities/skills: 3+ years of controls, automation, PLC programming, or industrial electrical experienceExperience with Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal, Step 7, Simotion Scout) and/or Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000, RSLogix)Experience with HMI development, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systemsAbility to support equipment startup, commissioning, debugging, and production issuesExperience with robotics, servo systems, VFDs, and industrial networking is a plusBachelor's degree preferred but can be waived for candidates with relevant hands-on experienceAutomotive, stamping, manufacturing, or industrial automation environmentsExperience supporting high-volume production equipment and plant operation#IND1
