Our client, a private equity backed organization experiencing expansive M&A growth is disrupting the Toys & Gaming industry with innovative technology - creating the opportunity for a new Executive leadership position in this organized poised for massive growth. PURPOSE OF Your Position:Reporting to COO, this Leader will have oversight management of all budgeting, forecasting, corporate accounting, compliance, tax and reporting to investors and lenders. The leader will develop and implement corporate policies, build/scale a team, create timeless and processes and partner with stakeholders to institute a budget providing expert advice to ensure financial performance. With a roll up your sleeve's mentality, this leader will add value to impact and maintain this profitable company's high performance and shareholder value growth. We hope you enjoy communicating with operations, supply chain, marketing, advertising, and playing a critical C-level leadership position - driving the growth & strategy of the organization.Primary Responsibilities:Scale and Manage team to ensure top performance and outputAR/AP Oversight and create finance analysis of GLOwn reconciliations, loan schedules, bank reconciliations, etc.Give input on organizational strategy and financial optionsPartner in acquisition/divestiture of subsidiaries by providing expertise on financial implications of the transactionPartner with CEO and President to present reports to the BOD/PE groupAssess technical accounting aspects of accounting as a result of business combination transactions.Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes and assist in preparation of timely financial statements to support audits.Manage corporate accounting, transactional accounting, treasury, financial systems & financial reporting including financial statement and quarterly board deck production.Drive maturation process of our post acquisition integration function by developing integration playbooks across multi-department and function groups.Assess and implement ERP system in multi - entity consolidation environmentBuild scalable integration function to prepare our organization for M&A growthLiaison with external auditors & banking partner.Requirements:9+ years minimum Accounting/Finance ExperienceBachelor's Degree: Accounting or related fieldERP Implementation & Expertise - NetSuiteStrong GAAPExperience with EDI software - SPS Commerce, Shopify, Bill.comExperience selling into Big Box RetailsCPG and Start-Up Experience - Strongly PreferredCompanies involved with M&A - PreferredExperience with Private Equity backed organizations - PreferredCPG, Manufacturing, Technology, Sport & Gaming Industry experience - Preferred
