About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Inventory Support Specialist to assist with daily inventory operations within our manufacturing division. This role is designed as a developmental position, providing hands-on experience with regulated inventory systems, ERP/MRP tools, and compliance processes.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable working with digital systems, and interested in growing into a higher-level Inventory & Compliance Specialist role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Operations Support
Assist with weekly cycle counts across raw materials, sub-components, and finished goods.
Support monthly inventory reconciliations under the direction of Operations leadership.
Accurately complete assigned inventory transactions in ERP/MRP and METRC systems.
Help maintain organized and compliant storage of all inventory on site.
Support staging of materials for production and shipping.
Compliance & Documentation Support
Support compliance with state inventory tracking regulations (e.g., METRC) by accurately completing assigned tasks.
Assist in documenting inventory transfers between departments, facilities, and partners.
Receive and document manifests in accordance with company procedures.
Help maintain audit-ready documentation and organized digital records.
Assist with monthly facility inspections related to inventory and compliance
Shipping, Receiving & Facility Support
Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure accurate documentation.
Support material handling and movement within the facility.
Perform occasional pickups and drop-offs at partner facilities as needed.
Maintain a professional and reliable driving record (clean record preferred).
Purchasing & Consumables Support
Monitor consumable inventory levels and report replenishment needs.
Assist in preparing Purchase Orders for review and approval.
Support inventory forecasting efforts under supervision.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn regulated inventory systems
Basic familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (preferred but not required)
Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to follow structured procedures and maintain documentation accuracy
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
