Delivery Experience Representative Dispatcher On-site employment Fast-growing Transportation company - a specialist in the Last Mile Home Delivery field, seeks an experienced Dispatcher/Operations Assistant with expertise in Final Mile and with a strong skill set in operations, dispatching, and customer service. This position will assist the Operations Manager at the site operation and will be responsible for dispatching, scanning, handling returns, working with contractors and responding to client and customer requests. A Delivery Experience Representative (Phone Dispatcher) ensures smooth, positive customer deliveries by handling logistics, providing excellent service, resolving issues, and managing route tasks like loading, driving, and securing products, often involving technology and maintaining vehicles, bridging the gap between company operations and the customer's final interaction. Key duties include accurate order fulfillment support, time-sensitive delivery via Drive Team (driver / drivers’ helper) communication, and maintaining delivery records, all while upholding professionalism and safety standards. Work schedule: 5 days a week / 8 hours a day / Tue- Sunday / 9am to 6:30pm Location: On-site / 3902 Hanna Cir, Ste. F Indianapolis IN 46241 Career Level: Paraprofessional / Intermediate position. Industry: Transportation/ Furniture Delivery and / or installation / White Glove Delivery / 3PL Client: a regional mid-priced home furnishings furniture store Operational Support: Collaborate with drivers/helpers and warehouse teams to address concerns during the in-home delivery of furniture. Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Dispatching (phone / smartphone / technology) · Assist in monitoring operations such as early am load outs, and routes; · Assist in organizing and managing the work of staff and Independent Contractors (drivers and helpers) to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with delivery requirements. · Assisting the Delivery management Team in investigations and resolutions to customer and in-home drive team issues; · Collaborate with the Operations Manager / Sr. Dispatcher and staff members and clients to achieve goals, and objectives. · Work with the Operations Manager to promote safe work activities. Minimum qualifications: · 2 years of customer service experience / logistics office support experience · Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills (Communication, Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Adaptability, Leadership, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Digital Literacy, Creativity, and Emotional Intelligence) · Available to work from Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 6:30pm. · Transportation / Warehouse Dock / “Big Ticket” Home Delivery experience. · English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Bilingual (verbal Spanish a plus · Demonstrated problem-solving, excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills. · Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels. · Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help. · Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.
