Is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issuesrelated to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Performs routine preventative maintenance ofmachinery and building systems.Primary Responsibilities IncludeExhibits high personal integrity, with the ability to professionally support and interact with internalcustomers.Communicates with others well and approaches others with a high level of respect.Supports defined safety regulations, ensuring compliance with standards, including: Arc Flash, Lock out /Tag out, Electrical, etc.Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employeesRequires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisorEnsure that all scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties are completed in a timely mannerEnsure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working conditionFollow all company Safety rules and guidelines in operating machinerySustain the 6S system throughout all work areasMaintain facility housekeepingTroubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properlyPerforms daily maintenance tasks, schedules repairs, and ensures all equipment and facilities are in goodworking orderCompletes preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assetsResponsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, andimplementing corrective actionsMaintains accurate records of maintenance activitiesMonitors critical component inventory for machinery in ERP system to minimize plant downtimeEssential Skills And QualificationsWorks collaboratively with the maintenance team and business units.Communicates and interacts with plant personnel and exhibits a positive attitude.This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, and the ability to respond to on-call dutiesfor repairs as required.Strong 5S, housekeeping skills that align with world-class maintenance programsAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, ladder diagrams, logic, and schematicsStrong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues,analyze data, and make informed decisionsSupports ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHA 18801 certification requirementsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environmentMaintains strong working relationships with internal and external customersExperience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) condition and predictive failure monitoring, OverallEquipment Effectiveness (OEE) tools, and Operational Excellence (Lean) methodologies is preferredDirect knowledge and experience with control software, including PLC logic programmingDirect knowledge and experience with electrical ladder diagram (Development, Modification, Trouble-shooting)Direct knowledge and experience with electrical code requirements (NEC), including main electricalswitchgear repair and arc flash requirements.Working knowledge of Robotics (Servo / End Coders / VFD) is preferredGains solid understanding of GF manufacturing processes, including troubleshootingUnderstands the purpose and proper use of small hand and power toolStrong time management and task prioritization skillsPeriodic Forklift And Rigging Skills Are PreferredPeriodic exposure to heights and confined spaces may be requiredEducation And ExperienceA minimum of 3-5 years experience in maintenance role, with direct hands-on experience in Hydraulics,Pneumatics, Electrical, and Mechanical maintenance and repairHigh School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalent, preferredEnvironmental / Atmospheric ConditionsTypical office/factory environment with exposure to ambient temperatures in un-conditioned productionareasExposure to general production machine noise levelsExposure to hazards such as electrical and moving mechanical partsWorking Conditions / Physical RequirementsStanding, walking, sitting, reaching, grasping, feeling, walking, and hearingRequires some lifting of up to 40 pounds objects (boxes, trash bags, odd shaped items, equipmentcomponents, etc.)Required to lift 50 pounds and move odd shaped objects (desks, tables, etc.)Required to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime as required to support plant operationsPlease submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
