Sr. Engineering Planning Specialist (On-site)

ResponsibilitiesOur client is seeking a Sr. Engineering Planning Specialist to support multiple Engineering Program teams. In this role, you will assist the Program Engineering Manager (PEM) and various Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads with managing cost, schedule, and performance for work directives. Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining Project Planning WorkbooksSupporting Control Account Manager (CAM) duties for work directivesEngaging in risk management activitiesMaintaining program schedules and developing project plansDeveloping or reviewing estimatesMonitoring work and expenditures to ensure adherence to schedule and budgetSupporting program management reviews and Lifecycle Management activitiesPreparing status reports and other program documentationDeveloping and analyzing program metrics, including staffing levelsCoordinating, proofreading, managing, and assembling program deliverables for the customer and internal reportsSkills RequiredAbility to work independently and develop solutions to complex issuesExcellent multitasking and prioritization skillsStrong analytical abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Skills PreferredProficiency in PM Compass for monitoring earned valueExperience with MS Project, Access, and VisioAbility to utilize Excel Pivot Tables and manipulate PowerBI-generated reportsTechnical knowledge of defense systemsExperience working closely with engineersExperience RequiredMinimum of 8 years of related experienceProject management/project controls experience in scheduling, risk management, and planningFamiliarity with program financial reporting and analysisExperience PreferredEarned Value Management reportingRisk and opportunity managementEducation RequiredAssociate's Degree, preferably in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related fieldBenefitsHealth Insurance401kPay: Up to $63.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
