Industrial Painter

Painter (FT) 7 pm - 3:30 am Metal Processing International (MPI) is currently looking to hire a full-time Painter. Forklift certification is required. Duties and Responsibilities: The ability to paint and maintain a high-quality finish on metal casting removes rust from metal and the work surface before painting. Mixes paint according to company specifications. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce the desired color. Loads parts for painting and inspects finished parts for quality approval. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the company policies. Repetitive light to heavy lifting of 10 to 100 Ibs. Must be familiar with several types of paints, and Air Guns. Complies with all laws and regulations about paint, thinners, and other hazards. Verifies that paintings are complete and to quality standards before submitting for final approval. Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized. Understands the terminology of the business and keeps up with any changes. Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with timekeeping standards. Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct. Understands and follows all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors. Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. Attends training on request. Attends company meetings as required. Other duties as assigned.
