Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:Support the implementation of the two year strategic plan of asset reliability improvements for West Coast facilities.Lead the development and installation of predictive maintenance programs.Analyze maintenance data to identify and prioritize impacting trends to target for reliability improvements.Assist with KPIs, such as Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), On-Stream Time (OST), track progress, and measure improvements.Lead investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) on equipment failures and use findings as a basis for Equipment Maintenance Strategies.Assist with the management of the Mechanical Integrity (MI) Program and ensure all testing and new work aligns with state, federal and internal requirements. Ensure compliance gaps and closed to drive long-term value.Develop a comprehensive Spare Parts Strategy.Review and provide technical input for capital projects.Support plants with implementing reliability strategies:Support Operations and Maintenance on troubleshooting failures, repairs and equipment evaluation.Follow jobs to ensure repair details (clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc.) are provided and documented.Provide field presence during planned turnarounds to perform field inspections and collect data to verify reliability plan strategies.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Enginees preferred.4+ years of relevant maintenance and reliability experience, preferably in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery production plantsExperience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.Travel (30-50%) to support West Coast facilities.
