Job DetailsDescriptionUnder the supervision of skilled machine operators, the Apprentice will learn all aspects of fastener manufacturing as it relates to drilling. Apprentices will learn to set-up and operate machines safely, check and record quality, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support the team as required.Description:Participate and learn during hands-on training of the Apprenticeship ProgramLearn machine set up procedures from an assigned mentorCheck and record quality per department proceduresKeep machines and work area cleanFollow all procedures and work instructionsMaintain good production numbers, low scrap, and high pieces/poundsQualifications:Mechanical AptitudeFamiliarity with toolsStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skillsAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read blueprints for partsBasic Math SkillsDuties: Operate assigned equipment Setup new work orders on assigned equipment. Troubleshoot issues on assigned equipment. Achieve high production efficiency. Maintain high levels of product quality. Maintain low levels of scrap. Minimize tool usage. Maintain proper housekeeping (5S) for assigned areas of responsibility. Follow all procedures and work instructions.
