In this role, you'll earn a competitive starting wage along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:6 Paid HolidaysGenerous PTO Starting from Day 1Employee DiscountsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance OptionsTraditional and Roth 401K Plans with Company Matching100% Company Paid Group Life InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts for Medical and Dependent Care100% Company Paid Short and Long-term Disability CoverageAccident, Cancer, and Critical Illness Insurance OptionsVoluntary life InsuranceA Supportive and Collaborative Work Environment where Your Contributions MatterYour Responsibilities Include Creating service orders by gathering detailed information on equipment issues, service history, warranty status, and distributing work orders to Service Technicians.Working with both internal and external customers to identify and secure the correct parts in a timely and efficient manner.Communicating with customers at the counter and over the phone regarding estimated repair times, costs, and any delays or issues.Collaborating effectively with employees across departments.Reviewing and verifying equipment warranty coverage, including parts and labor.Partnering with manufacturers, vendors, and their warranty departments to ensure proper processing of claims and adherence to guidelines.Assisting with the submission of warranty claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided promptly.Following up on outstanding warranty claims to ensure resolution and reimbursement.Assisting with inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, pricing, and stocking parts in the service area, while entering part numbers into the computer system.Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and promoting safety standards.Qualifications Customer service skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.Computer skills and the ability to learn new softwareKnowledge of tools and equipmentExperience with warranty claims: previous experience in handling warranty claims is preferredWe'd Love If You Have Mechanical aptitude or previous service writing experience.Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for most of the shift.Occasionally push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.About Acme ToolsFor over 75 years, Acme Tools has been a trusted source for tools and equipment throughout North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and online by serving contractors, woodworkers, and DIY enthusiasts top-quality tools from the best brands.
