AGAR has been growing culture through experiences since 2008. POSITION DESCRIPTION/AGAR is seeking a seasoned New Business Development candidate to build strong connections with prospects and create opportunities to generate revenue through pitching brand experience strategies and services. The candidate must have a proven track record of previous sales experience in the experiential marketing field, preferably with brands and Fortune 500 companies across several types of industries.The New Business Development candidate will manage the current pipeline and leverage consumer and marketing insights to develop new client relationships to convert leads to awarded work. The New Business Development candidate works with leadership and strategy teams to implement business development initiatives based on client goals and desired outcomes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ Source leads by initiating outreach, building relationships with prospects, and listening for opportunities through discovery meetings, networking efforts, and capabilities presentations.Create strategic content for capabilities and pitch decks, working alongside internal departments to produce concepts that win new work.Spearhead the RFP/RFI process, briefing the internal team and compiling all necessary information.Close new business opportunities by developing and negotiating MSAs and SOWs.Identify industry trends, plus enhance industry expertise and thought leadership by reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizationsMarket and merchandise AGAR’s successes; ensure AGAR stays top of mind with prospects and within the industryEmbody AGAR’s vision, mission, guiding principles, processes, and core valuesDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE/BS/BA in Business, Marketing or related field plus preferred agency experienceProven track record in the development of new business and generating revenueAbility to bring in a network of new business opportunities that align with company offeringsPassion to create and ability to solve problemsExcellent organizational and time management skills.
