Specialty Development Executive, OncologyLabcorp is seeking a Specialty Development Executive, Oncology to join our team in the territory of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.Responsibilities:Learn and sell Integrated Oncology focused products and servicesMeet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in assigned territorySuccessfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updatesCold call and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievementAccurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities in-line with a 90-day quotaEffectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivityCollaborate, communicate and actively contribute to new business opportunities with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterpartsCollaborate closely with team members to retain current book of businessAttend local and national professional trade shows and events as requestedEffectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospectsPerform in-services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staffUpdate all relevant customer account information into CRM Data Management Systems (Salesforce)Provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer baseMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma5 years of outside sales experiencePreferred Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in the life sciencesJob Standards:Experience in the healthcare or clinical laboratory/medical device industryExisting relationships within one or multiple areas of: Hospitals, Pathology and Oncology ClinicsPrior experience in pathology or oncologyProven success managing a book of businessStrong persuasiveness as well as influencing and closing skillsAbility to understand complex scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factorStrong communication skills, written and verbalExcellent time management and organization skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point & ExcelHave a valid driver's license and clean driving recordPosition requires some overnight travel for client visits, sales events and trade showsLabcorp Oncology believes in harnessing science to improve health and the lives of people with cancer. Over the last 25 years, Labcorp has played a historic role in launching some of the hallmark diagnostic testing for the treatment of cancer, including HER2, PD-L1, EGFR, BRAF, ALK, RET and others.As an Oncology Specialty Development Sales Executive, you are responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of Labcorp Oncology and Laboratory Corporation of America (LCA) commercial products to Hospital Pathologists, Oncologists, Hematologists and regional reference laboratories in a territory that covers Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota.
