Medical Biller with Experience

Medical Biller With Experience Looking for an experienced medical biller. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in a medical billing setting or experience assisting with a medical billing department. This is not a training position.Calculating and collecting payments for medical procedures and services, including updating patient data, developing payment plans, and preparing invoices. Ensure that patients are billed quickly and accurately.Pay is DOE $23-$26, depending on certifications and years of experience.THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Billing InsuranceReview accounts for insurance and patient issuesPerform various collection actions, including contacting insurance companies and patients.Correction and resubmission of claims to 3rd party payers, etc.Follow up on unpaid claimsChecking insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in paymentsBill secondary insuranceEntry of patient paymentsMedical billingEOB'sExperience with MedicareExcellent with phones and computersMust be detailedBasic knowledge of ICD-10CPT/HCPCS coding proceduresSolve complex problemsAble to multitask at a fast paceSome authorizations.Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.Work schedule:10 hour shift
