Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.OverviewThe primary purpose is business development to help lead, define, and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns.Key Responsibilities:Drive Siemens EDA products PADS, Xpedition, HyperLynx , Valor, PartQuest into customer projects through adoption by creating methodology and flows; this may include infrastructure and integration into a customer s environment and the identification of pilot projects for tool use and the debugging and bring-up of new methodologies and flowsDevelop close relationships with customers through as many levels as possible, to be able to assess their technical and business requirements. Identify the options/ability for Siemens flows/solutions to develop and implement technical sales plansUncover or qualify new opportunities, the technical viability of a lead and strategize the opportunity clearly with the sales teamTo share, in a proactive manner, account, evaluation, competitor, technology and other useful information with peers, sales teams, management and product divisions to help us to compete more effectivelyProvide technical leadership for assigned accountsOther reasonable actions not named, which are required by management or leadershipJob Qualifications:BSEE or BSCS required; MSEE desired5 to 8 years of experience in Siemens EDA products PADS, Xpedition, HyperLynx , Valor, PartQuestCommand of Microsoft Office productsSimulation and verification expertiseProject management experienceExperience with diagnosis driven yield analysis also desiredGreat communication written and verbal; influencing, teamwork, and diplomacy skillsDemonstrable drive and commitmentAdaptability, dedication, persistence, and assertivenessMarketing-related knowledge, Understands basic sales tacticsFamiliarity with business and financial terminologyHigh energy, effective presentation skills, Problem solving skills. Self-starter that can work independently of the teamAble to communicate at all levels management both internally and at the customerCan apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
