Lab Analyst

Job Title: Lab AnalystLocation: Savannah, GAHours/Schedule: 12hr rotating shift. 6:45 to 7. (2-3-2 schedule)Type: ContractOverview A Global leader in sustainable Technologies, with a location in GA is looking for a Lab Analyst to join their team. Candidates with a Chemistry background and professional lab experience please apply!ResponsibilitiesOperates and maintains various quality control analytical instruments. Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods. Approves/rejects materials based upon set specifications Enters data into plant information system to allow generation of reports on plant operating conditions Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Performs calibrations of equipment. Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products. May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision. RequirementsBS in Chemistry or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: Minimum 6 months lab experience Self motivated individual with good time management skills Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office) Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communications skills.
