Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)Position SummaryThe Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care services to adult and/or family populations. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions while promoting overall health and wellness through patient-centered, evidence-based care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of acute and chronic conditionsPerform routine physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health assessmentsManage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory disordersPrescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with clinical guidelinesOrder, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imagingProvide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment plansCoordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services as neededMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health recordParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and clinical meetingsAdhere to regulatory, ethical, and professional standards of medical practiceQualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency programBoard eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive or eligible state medical licenseDEA registration or eligibilitySkills and CompetenciesStrong clinical and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesCommitment to patient-centered, evidence-based careAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environmentProficiency with electronic health record systemsWork EnvironmentOutpatient clinic, inpatient hospital setting, or a combination depending on practice modelFull-time or part-time schedules may be availableCall responsibilities vary by practiceLANGUAGE:Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), Vietnamese, Spanish and other languages may be required depending on location.Fluency in other languages are an asset.
