Document Control Specialist

Job Title: Document Control Specialist Industry: Manufacturing Location: Glendale, AZ Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 100 percent onsite Client Overview This is a large, publicly traded materials science company, tens of thousands of employees worldwide, well over 15 billion dollars in annual revenue, with a 170 plus year history of inventing new glass, ceramic, and optical technologies. This role sits within one of their U.S. manufacturing or engineering operations. Top 3 Skills SAP master data maintenance, specifically creating, correcting, and maintaining Bill of Materials and Routing records Manufacturing Execution System (MES) workflow configuration and maintenance Engineering document control and revision management in a PLM or document management system What You'll Do Correct and maintain Bill of Materials data in SAP Correct and maintain Routing data in SAP Support configuration and maintenance of workflows in the MES Review system data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency Work with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve data issues Complete changes in line with internal procedures and documentation requirements Provide document control support, maintaining document revisions and storing them in the correct systems Support maintenance of project data in Open Project Keep shared file management systems organized and current Perform general data cleanup for engineering and manufacturing systems What We Need From You Associate's degree 1 to 3 years in manufacturing systems, document control, or data management Hands on SAP data entry, maintenance, or correction experience Working familiarity with an MES platform Ability to work accurately inside controlled systems and follow defined procedures Preferred / Bonus Direct experience maintaining BOM and Routing data in SAP Experience configuring MES workflows, not only using them Windchill and Adept document control experience Open Project experience Manufacturing or engineering environment background Comfortable managing priorities with minimal oversight
