We're looking for skilled Welders like you! What You'll Do:MIG WeldingPerform MIG welding to join metal parts, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Machine operation: Operate metalworking machines such as shears, presses, and grinders to shape metal parts as required. Fabrication of metal partsCut, shape, and assemble metal components using various hand and power tools, ensuring adherence to specifications. Blueprint interpretationRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to accurately fabricate metal parts according to the design. Production Task ExecutionFollow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks accurately. Material HandlingManeuver large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane, as required. Weld Inspection & FinishingInspect welds throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes. Machine & Workspace MaintenanceKeep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols. Quality ControlInspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards. Cross-Functional SupportAssist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs. What You'll Bring:MIG Welding ExperiencePrior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required. Tool ProficiencyFamiliarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16" increments.Communication & DocumentationBasic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English. Physical CapabilityPhysically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required. Attendance & ComplianceAbility to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies. Shift EnduranceAbility to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment. Mechanical KnowledgeGeneral mechanical knowledge is beneficial. Team OrientationAble to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player. Attention to DetailDemonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks. Your Schedule: 3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 amTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to work daily to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
