This role provides regional oversight, USDA compliance leadership, and operational support for rural and workforce housing communities.Candidates must have hands-on USDA RD property management experience. Experience with LIHTC / Tax Credit housing is strongly preferred.Preferred location: Tennessee — Middle TN or Chattanooga area (regional travel required).Key Responsibilities (Regional / USDA Focused)Oversee daily operations for a multi-site USDA Rural Development housing portfolioEnsure USDA RD compliance, reporting, certifications, and audit readinessMaintain compliance with USDA, LIHTC, and affordable housing regulationsSupport leasing, marketing, collections, occupancy, and resident retentionConduct regular property inspections for compliance, performance, and curb appealTrain, mentor, and supervise onsite Property Managers and Maintenance SupervisorsReview financials, budgets, rent rolls, delinquencies, and operational KPIsPartner with leadership to improve portfolio performance and compliance outcomesRequired Qualifications3+ years of multifamily property management experienceUSDA Rural Development housing experience – REQUIREDMulti-site or regional property management experience preferredTax Credit / LIHTC experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of USDA compliance, reporting, and auditsProven leadership experience supporting onsite teamsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to travel within Tennessee as neededQuarterly performance bonusesAnnual merit increasesPaid holidaysGenerous PTO0–4 years: 120 hours5+ years: 160 hoursMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsCompany-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchWhy BrooksideBrookside offers long-term stability, growth opportunities, and a leadership team that values compliance expertise and operational excellence.
