This role involves advising clients, handling litigation, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. The position offers a remote work environment with strong collaboration across teams.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage & hour mattersHandle cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparationProvide strategic legal advice and counseling to clients on employment-related issues and risk mitigationDraft, review, and update employment policies, agreements, and handbooksConduct internal investigations and assist with workplace compliance mattersManage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines and client expectationsCollaborate with internal teams and clients to develop effective case strategiesParticipate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiationsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive bar license in Texas1+ years of experience in labor and employment lawStrong litigation experience in employment-related mattersExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload independentlyPreferred SkillsExperience with class actions or complex employment litigationStrong client-facing and advisory experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We OfferFully remote work flexibilityCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and advancement
