Operations Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily production and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a player-coach role responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, developing team performance, and building structure as the business scales. You will be expected to spend significant time on the production floor, working closely with operators to solve problems, improve processes, and ensure safe, efficient output.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations Lead daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently metAct as a player-coach on the floor—troubleshooting issues in real time and supporting the team directly when neededSupervise, coach, and develop a team of chemical mixers, driving accountability and performance Establish and reinforce standard operating procedures where structure is lackingHire and onboard additional team members as the company growsIdentify process inefficiencies and implement practical improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives and execute operational improvements Track and report on key operational metrics (output, quality, downtime, etc.)QUALIFICATIONS5-10+ years supervising in a manufacturing, industrials, chemicals or related environmentExperience with chemicals, mixing, or hazardous materials strongly preferredExperience leading teams of approximately 15–40 employeesDemonstrated ability to operate in hands-on, fast-paced environmentsStrong people leadership: can set the tone, lead by example, hold people accountable and grow a solid teamSafety-first mindset — takes ownership of enforcing and improving safety every dayHungry and ambitious — wants to grow, take ownership, and build something betterTakes initiative and solves problems without waiting to be toldReliable, organized, and direct communicatorBilingual (Spanish / English) required
