Greenheart Exchange is a division of the nonprofit, Greenheart International.We are a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State for the following J-1 Exchange Visitor ProgramsSecondary School (High School Program)Intern and TraineeSummer Work TravelGreenheart Exchange is a branch of Greenheart International, a nonprofit that connects people and planet to create global leaders through personal development, volunteer service, environmentalism, fair trade, and cultural exchange.,We have amazing students waiting to learn about their new family. Imagine practicing your Italian with a student from Italy, or learning to make an Indonesian dish with an Indonesian, or “having family” to visit in Spain or Sweden one day! Those are just a few of the benefits of being a host family. Host families can be anyone---with kids in the house, empty nesters, or single people. The hosting period is only a semester or a school year, but the friendships may last a lifetime.
